Terms of use

1. What WatchBI is

watchbi.com (“the site”) is operated by OREGO productions s.r.o., Světova 523/1, Libeň, 180 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic (“we”). The site publishes market information about new luxury watches: prices and availability collected from public retailer listings, technical specifications, price history and an editorial encyclopedia of watch brands.

The site is an information service. We do not sell watches, hold stock, take orders or process payments. Any purchase is made directly with the retailer, under the retailer's own terms, and we are not a party to that transaction.

2. Nature of the price data

Prices, availability and specifications are collected automatically from retailer websites, typically once a day, and are shown as published by the retailer at the time of collection. They can be out of date, incomplete or wrong, and retailers can change or withdraw an offer at any time. Prices in a currency other than the retailer's are converted with the European Central Bank reference rate of the day and are approximate.

Prices shown may exclude taxes, duties, shipping and other charges that depend on the buyer's country. Before buying, confirm price, availability, warranty and conditions directly with the retailer. Nothing on the site is investment, financial or purchase advice.

3. How offers are ranked

By default the catalog orders references by the number of active offers and the number of retailers listing them; within a reference, offers are ordered by price in euros from lowest to highest. Visitors can change the ordering with the sort control. Ranking is not influenced by payment from retailers or brands, and no retailer pays to be listed. Retailers are selected for monitoring by editorial criteria (publicly accessible listings of new watches, region coverage, data quality).

4. Affiliate links

Some links to retailers are affiliate links. If you click such a link and make a purchase, the retailer or its affiliate network may pay us a commission. This does not change the price you pay and does not affect whether or how an offer is displayed or ranked. Affiliate links are marked with the attribute rel="sponsored" in the page code.

5. Intellectual property and permitted use

The selection, arrangement and structure of the data on the site, the price history, indices and all editorial texts are protected by copyright and by the sui generis database right (Directive 96/9/EC and section 88 et seq. of the Czech Copyright Act). Trademarks, product names and product photographs belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification only.

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial information purposes and quote short extracts with a link to the source page. Without our prior written consent you may not extract or re-utilise a substantial part of the database, crawl or scrape the site or its data interface systematically, republish price feeds, or use the data to train machine-learning models. Contact us for licensing of the data.

6. Encyclopedia content and sources

Encyclopedia entries are compiled from the sources listed at the end of each entry. Images are reproduced from Wikimedia Commons under the license stated for each image; that license, not these terms, governs their reuse. We take care to be accurate but do not warrant that any entry is complete or free of errors. Corrections with a verifiable source are welcome at the contact address below.

7. Third-party websites

Links to retailers, manufacturers and other third parties lead to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices.

8. Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for damage arising from reliance on information published on the site, from its unavailability or from errors in it, except for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence and except for liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

9. Notices and takedown

Rights holders and retailers who object to the display of their content or listings can write to watchbi@oregoproduction.cz. We respond within five working days. See also the Legal notice.

10. Changes, governing law

We may change these terms; the current version with its date is always published at this address. These terms and any dispute arising from the use of the site are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which a consumer resides. Consumers may also turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz) for out-of-court dispute resolution.
